I am a REALTOR® from Melfort, SK who focuses on farm and land sales. I grew up on a mixed farm twenty minutes West of Melfort dealing with all aspects of farming from grain farming to livestock. I have been heavily involved in Agriculture for the last eleven years. Eight of those years were spent in sales at Cervus Equipment John Deere. I quickly realised I enjoyed providing customers with the highest level of service and support in the field, as well as partnering with their purchasing goals. As this industry is based almost wholly on repeat business the reputation of honesty and integrity I built went a long way.
Real estate has always been an underlying passion of mine and I have been a licensed agent since June of 2015. When my wife and I were offered the option to run a Coldwell Banker Signature office in Melfort, I took this as an opportunity to venture into real estate full time. The owners are based in Saskatoon and wanted to expand their brand. My wife and I shared their vision of how a business should be operated and our goals of growth towards the future aligned. We opened the office in November of 2016 and I joined my wife the following February. We are very proud small business owner and of what we have built since we opened our location.
I have developed a large network of contacts in the Agriculture industry between my loyal customers in Melfort as well as the customer base in the five Cervus locations in central and North East SK. I know the importance of partnering with other professionals, so my network is also extended to accountants, lawyers, advisors and lenders. I differentiate myself from the competition in three key areas. My family are fourth generation producers which has given me a vast knowledge of how the farming structure works, much of my work experience is already focused in the agriculture industry, and I truly understand the importance of relationships vs transactional sales. I already offer my clients a third-party financial advisor to consider their goals, retirement plans and tax implications. Planning to sell or buy land is normally a very involved process and having leading professionals as referral options will simplify the client’s process.
